Mechanical Governors for Steam Turbine Applications

Woodward’s PG-PL Speed Control Governor is applied to all types of diesel/gas engines and steam turbines driving pumps and compressors. Besides controlling speed, PG-PL governors can also limit load and shut down the engine when the lubricating oil pressure fails. Woodward customizes each PG-PL governor to meet the needs of the turbine or engine and the application.
