CPC II
Electro-Hydraulic Actuator Control for Steam Turbines
Current to Pressure Converter (CPC-II)
Woodward’s Current to Pressure Converter (CPC-II) is an electrohydraulic pressure regulating control valve used to position single-acting steam turbine valve servos/actuators. The CPC-II’s superb accuracy and resolution make it ideal for steam turbine valve control and related turbine speed and load control.
The CPC accepts a 4-20 mA pressure demand signal and accurately controls oil pressure to precisely position single-acting steam turbine governor-valves. Precise and stable steam valve control directly relates to improved steam turbine speed and load control and reduced system mechanical wear.
- Output Pressure Range —0 to 25 bar (0 to 363 psi) control oil
- Input Power—, 18-32 Vdc
