In 2014, PM Control completed the control system retrofit of an LM2500 main propulsion gas turbine. The original control system was obsolete and spare parts not available, upgrading to the Woodward MicroNet ensured support for many years to come. At the end of the project the aircraft carrier completed sea trials with flying colours.
Sabah Electric
PM Control replaced the obsolete 501DCS on a GE LM2500 gas turbine with the GTC250A. The owner of the turbine, Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd expressed their complete satisfaction with the retrofit, stating that the new system is robust, reliable and easy to operate.
